Good site! I especially like the tone and style of the posts. Snarky but informative, just like the Mission page promised.
Good use overall of links (although not in the last two posts), easy to read, good info, and you seem to keep up-to-date on the sports scene and post in a timely manner. Also like that all Chicago’s teams get some play in the blog. Chicago fan blogs probably spend more time on certain teams.
Other than that I can’t be too helpful with content because I don’t follow sports at all…
I know the design assignment isn’t due quite yet, but here’s some input on design for when it is: I’d change the format of the title because it’s hard to read. Also I think you could put together a good blogroll/links list for people who want to read more about Chicago sports.
A particularly good post: NFL schedule spotlights da Bears… for some reason
It’s got news value because of the national publicity, good analysis of what’s new and how it relates to the old news, good use of links and data, and a nice dose of personality to boot. Plus I love the SNL skit. Nicely done.
If only I was interested in sports, your blog would rock! Just thought I’d let you know that. I will skim it on occasion though. And if you ever write about a Texas team … I’ll be here in a flash (go Cowboys and Mavericks!!)
Hows about some feacha coverage on the darlings of the Norse division: The Minnesota Vikings.

Otherwise just keep up the good work.
